Most everyone I know has already done these but a recent article about mortgage application trigger lists made me think it might be time for a reminder.

Block telemarketing pitches by making sure your phone numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry. This is effective for FIVE YEARS, so if you've noticed a recent spike in phone calls you might need to re-register:

Block credit bureaus from selling your personal information to lenders for marketing campaigns. There are 2 options on the site. One blocks them for FIVE YEARS, the other permanently blocks them (yeah!):
