teeth

Aaron now has 2 little teeth poking through his bottom gums Just the tiniest little (very sharp) points, but oh how adorable they are.

I never knew I could be so excited about teeth!

Just this past weekend I was pondering how different my life is from most of my high school and college friends. Their life is much more glamorous than mine but I wouldn't trade it for the excitement of one of my sons getting their first (and second!) tooth.

Isn't it interesting how vastly different one's priorities can become in 10 years?

The truth is, I think this is where I was always heading. I think the other dreams and goals in my life were being greatly influenced by those around me and the culture we live in. In reality, I think I've always just been a simple girl who wanted a very simple domestic life. During no other point in my life have I been as happy as I am now.

I am glad to see that you see value in and have joy from what you are doing. It has always been an irritation of mine even before I had children of the attitude displayed toward stay at home mothers and family oriented people. It is kind of like the attitude sometimes used on teachers--the one in which it is implied you weren't capable of doing something else so therefore you do what you do.

Yea for YOU! It is my belief that when we find what gives us joy and satisfaction, we're also more tolerant of others who don't find joy in the VERY SAME thing. Just to show my ignorance, I thought babies were older when teeth first started to appear. auntie
