Apparently Sony/BMG thinks we're all idiots. They're recalling ~5 million cds that in addition to copy protection will install spyware on your computer.
Come on.
Did they really think nobody was going to notice?

Not only is it spyware but spyware that even some very skilled computer programers have trouble sniffing out and getting rid of.
