This American Life

I've always found the NPR show, This American Life, riveting. The televised version is equally amazing. The stories are, of course, compelling and the visuals are stunning.

This is a show worth being passionate about.

To All the Moms I Know...

We are sitting at lunch when my daughter says, casually, "Do you think I should have a baby?" "It will change your life," I say, keeping my tone neutral. "I know," she says, "no more sleeping in on weekends, no more spontaneous vacations."

Biz's Beat of the Day

Biz's Beat of the Day is really the only thing I don't like on Gabba. Aaron is now convinced that his spitting is o-kay. Almost a year of working on getting him to stop down the tubes.

Aggrolites New Years Eve at the Belly Up - Banana

While this obviously isn't their performance from Yo Gabba Gabba - the Aggrolites do this song in one of the episodes. I love that there's a kids show where my boys can hear good music and I love even more that it's really the only tv show they pay attention to!
